Originally developed for a simpler “How do you feel when?” from Orange UK, this campaign evolved along with the development of the Orange Talking Point site, aimed at encouraging users to allay their thoughts on any number of given subjects.

If you love something set it free, pure branding. Combination of Flash and video based animations across a range formats and takeovers to launch the new “Open” approach by Orange globally.

5 days in the Andalusian desert documenting the shooting the TVC’s and tryin to work exactly how the next installment in the Orange “Animals” was going to play out online…

Amex (RED)

The Launch of product (RED) and specifically Bono boning the AMEX (RED) card at a press conference pre launch set the tone to this campaign. We’d been playing with ideas of conspicuous consumption, everyday purchases of items and the like with a whiff of La Chapelle coming in to do the photography.

It was tantalizing. And it wasn’t to be – the photography, at that stage anyway.

This work mirrored the Press ads, but we gave it a few little twists, working off the “MAKE EVERY PURCHASE INC(RED)IBLE” the only signed off copy we had to work with at that time…

Christian Aid

As part of Christian Aid Week 2005 Poke created a viral property – BigCowFarm.org. It’s an engaging look at the ‘power of multiplication’, a virtual farmyard where you can ‘add a cow’ and witness the effects of multiplication in action. The style of the creative work is defined by charming, primitive illustrations and typography.

Yahoo

Aside from the bigger site projects that we worked on at POKE for Yahoo, bit’s and pieces of advertsing cam along from time to time. This one above is for a B2B content during the World Cup.

Boots Xmas campaigns

Another of the Mother portfolio, we ran small xmas Direct Response campaigns for 2005 and 2006. For my money the 2005 campaign was a better one, Harry hill as Doctor Xmas – hilarious. 2006 was based around a little tree on a big hill in the snow with lots of gifts – all the gifts in the UK in fact, a staggering 500 million apparently, it was a big shoot…
